Paul Reed...was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He graduated in 1976 from Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, California with a B.S. in industrial design. He also received additional study in head and figure drawing at Art Center. In the past ten years Paul has pursued landscape painting and portraiture. Although He works mainly in oil, He has also enjoyed a variety of other medium including watercolor and pastel. Having spent many summers in the Rocky Mountains as a boy and traveling through the western states his main love is landscape painting. His preference is usually a quiet image of scenery, which has an artistic challenge or personal significance to him. He hopes that whomever views his paintings will find something that will touch them emotionally and perhaps, remind them of the Creator of heaven and earth. |
